my p.volve 90 day challenge experience: what is it?

I am mostly writing this blog post to keep myself accountable because I have had such a lack of motivation lately! But it’s time I start to feel my best. I think women’s bodies are always under the public eye these days (too this or too that) and TBH our bodies are a very personal thing– every woman’s body is different and you have to do what is right and healthy for you.

I have been eating clean and working out regularly since the freshman 15 hit me 6 years ago and the best I have ever felt was when I was doing Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide 3 years ago. Through her workouts though I developed an ED, and became too obsessed with my workouts. These days I take a lighter approach with fitness through P.volve! With their 90 Day Challenge, I really wanted to look and feel better than ever (like i did with BBG but without all the burpees and sprinting) I’ve always been naturally thin, with a bubble butt (thank you mom), but when I was over-exercising I put on more muscle than I was happy with. (not that muscle is bad. Just not the body type I wanted)

So what is the 90 Day Challenge exactly?

  1. Work out at least 16 days during each 30 day period

  2. Workouts must be 15 minutes or more

  3. Multiple workouts in one day only count as one day of workouts

  4. Structured programs are included

Easy enough! Here is what I anticipate my weeks look like:

Monday: P.volve arm/ab based exercise + 30 min walk

Tuesday: P.volve Butt based exercises + 30-minute walk

Wednesday: 30 min walk

Thursday: P.volve Thigh based exercises + 30 min walk

Friday: P.volve arm/ab based exercises + 30 min walk

Saturday: Snowboarding or studio class workout

Sunday: Snowboarding or studio class workout

Because this will be a series of posts, I plan to document my experience with before and after pics after each month is completed!
